Vital Trek of Life

Woke up at 5:45 to get to the fueling station at 6 for a quick oatmeal breakfast before practice. There was an incredible sunset this morning on the course, and there’s a picture of it on my sunset pictures page! I didn’t do it justice unfortunately, it was beautiful. The workout was tough, I did 2x1200m, 1x1000m, and 3x800m. While we were in these reps, our average pace was 4:45ish, which is a lot faster than we have ran most of this season. It was a good workout though, nonetheless, and it was followed by a difficult lifting routine. Good news, I got a locker! I will elaborate on that soon.

After this, I went home then headed to my nutrition class, then to study hall to work on some homework for my accounting and English classes. 4/6 of the boys from my dorm were there working on homework at one round table, we were all LOCKED in. It’s always cool working up there because you have an incredible view of the stadium right next to you through the glass.

After that, I went to my Econ class, then back to study hall for more of a grind. I had a required Sexual Misconduct meeting to go to (I didn’t do anything wrong don’t worry) after that, but I just worked on homework because I’d already had the meeting from XC. I came home, had some leftovers, then went and played beach volleyball. Tomorrow will be a much busier day for sure. I’m grateful for where I’m at, and excited for the opportunities God has given me!
