I give rundowns of my daily life. This is where that bored factor comes into play, and I can describe in detail what goes on throughout my life! Stay tuned for updates
While I may be obsessed with running, a lot of other stuff goes on too.
Daily Life
- Day 3My body is feeling tired, my legs are sore, the dex is the dex, and I’m in my 8 AM as we speak. Guess this is college! Last night there was a drunk guy on my wing of Ford Hall. It was sad, but pretty funny. A couple of us were watching Cars 2, and he busts in the door, says all kinda crazy stuff, then just jumps on a random guys lap. He saw that I was (suction) cupping my legs, and he grabbed a cup and stuck it on his nipple. A second later, he ripped it off… Read more: Day 3
- Day 1 of My New LifeWow. Life sure will be different here than in Utah! I could talk for a solid hour or two about all the ways NNU is different than USU, but instead I’ll share with you the highlights, or the things that are REALLY different. To get rolling, let’s start off with a quick poem I just wrote. Everything changes, quite often in life My faith, friends, consciousness by night Everything changes, like wind in a kite Wind’s inexistent sometimes, and later, just right. Everything changes, the blueberries in the box Perfectly ripe a few days, then the next, they are not… Read more: Day 1 of My New Life
- Slow Down – 11/17/25
Well, my XC season is over. Super bummer of a season, but there’s something unique about the feeling of “I have much more to give”. Who knows what my actually human limit is in cross country, but I do know that the end wasn’t in sight this season. Our team hypothetically placed 33rd in the country. 32 teams make it to nationals, so we were the first team out. The guys are pretty bummed about it, you can imagine. On a brighter note, now I am on a break from running! Probably one to two weeks, it’s day one and… Read more: Slow Down – 11/17/25 - Life is back!
10/20/25 Well, I’m back! Life has been pretty hectic lately- Mr. USU, business school events, and other random occurrences have hindered my ability to have free time and be able to write this. Today Canvas is down. It’s the platform we use for school, and it’s because some Amazon services are down. Pretty wild, I haven’t been able to do much today. Started off the day with Intro to Film, where we watched a musical about boots. It was horrible- called “Kinky Boots”. It was about the creation of a boot for a drag queen. I don’t know what my… Read more: Life is back! - Clash Royale PrincessI’m sitting in my intro to film class right now, just minding my own. We are watching a movie called 1776- it’s a musical about the Declaration of Independence haha. Anyways, I’m chilling, and I look up, and in front of me is this girl playing Clash Royale. Yeah, you heard me, Clash Royale! A GIRL! I couldn’t believe my eyes. In addition, she’s also cute! Thoughts start racing through my head… is she the one? A girl playing supercell games? Am I falling in love? Never mind- she’s wearing a Kansas City Chiefs shirt. She’s not the one. There… Read more: Clash Royale Princess
- Side-QuestYesterday was a total side quest. I woke up, ran a few miles in the morning with Ethan, then hopped on an elliptical for a bit, got some fueling station breakfast, showered, then headed to my intro to film class 15 minutes late, because I had to get a suit on for my Mr. USU interview later that afternoon. I looked pretty dripped out, not going to lie. 2001: A Space Odyssey might be the worst movie I’ve seen in my life. I wouldn’t recommend taking an intro to film class. After that class, I ran into my friends coming… Read more: Side-Quest
- Mr. Athlete
Well, since I’m officially selected as Mr. Athlete, I gotta figure out a talent to perform for the show. I have no clue what to do, so I need plenty of ideas from all of you. It’s gonna take a lot of time, but I’m committed to the joke. This weekend wasn’t too exciting- did some homework, watched some movies, and that’s pretty much it. However- I did help my friends move a piano. Maybe one of the worst ideas I have witnessed in my college career this far. There were four of us that went to this lady’s house… Read more: Mr. Athlete - Big News
I’m back! Sorry for a couple days without a blog. Yesterday I made a GoPro video on our run. I like to think it’s pretty cool, but it’s definitely fun to see my progression in terms of filming but also video editing. Kinda a fun little hobby. Yesterday during bowling class, I got an email from some random guy at USU. I started reading it, and to my surprise, it was actually relevant! “On behalf of the Traditions Committee, we would love to have you as a contestant for the 2025 Mr. USU Pageant! Congratulations!” I couldn’t believe it. My… Read more: Big News - Homework Flash FloodI’m drowning in homework! A freak flash flood! I went to bed last night at 9:45, but I slept horribly. I was thinking about the workout, had to pee twice during the night, and struggled getting deep sleep. Woke up this morning, shook it off, and prepared for a hard day in the office. I show up to the track, wearing half tights, a long sleeve, then zip up, and a jacket over that. It was cold this morning! All that and I was still freezing at times. I guess it’s foreshadowing for the rest of the season. The workout… Read more: Homework Flash Flood
- My Newfound Hatred for BlockBlast
Lately, I’ve been going to bed at 9:30 or 10 most nights. And let me tell you- it’s been awesome. I’ve been getting to sleep at a good time lately, and noticing my body feeling a lot better. Unfortunately, I can’t sleep in most of the time, so going to bed early had paid dividends. I’m hoping if I do this consistently I will become a much better athlete. I had a good weekend! It was pretty chill, I watched several movies and a lot of television, hung out with my team a little bit, and just overall laid low.… Read more: My Newfound Hatred for BlockBlast - Scooter Dreams
My new scooter came last night! It glides, super smooth ride. It’s awesome, and I am officially BACK! Along with that, electric scooters have gotten way more popular on campus this year. Straight up, I think I started a revolution, because they are everywhere. I know what you’re thinking- and don’t worry, this scooter is safer. Plus, I don’t take it on sport mode, so it’s much more controlled, smoother, and less prone to crashing. I’m going to try and order some new parts and fix my old scooter. I’ll keep you posted. Later today, we are going to leave… Read more: Scooter Dreams - The great A-eye
Welcome back to today’s episode! This morning, me and Ethan went to a volunteering event where we drew chalk messages on the sidewalk for Suicide Prevention month. It was fun! A simple way to serve the community I guess. I want to prioritize community service a little more than I have in the past this semester. To start off, I am learning to do things with AI that I never thought imaginable. Today we had interviews with AI- each individual, which is crazy. We also learned how to put sources into AI and it create podcasts instantaneously, summarizing the reviewing… Read more: The great A-eye - LinkedIn Mastermind
Business school is starting to get wild. The other day Brad said this, and I think it’s super true: “You can get all As, but if you aren’t networking and building connections outside of class, you’re basically getting all C’s, whereas if you’re networking with people, and getting Bs, you’re pretty much getting As.“ The career expo is in a couple weeks! This is probably one of the biggest days of the semester for me, as it largely influences the internship I will get this summer. I’m gonna define it a little bit better so you will know what it… Read more: LinkedIn Mastermind - The Black Plague
It’s a good day. Little weekend recap for you all: Saturday night we went to The Amp. It was a night I will never forget- we had a fire, played music, and sang. Once it got darker, we cooked marshmallows, and just laughed and laughed as the night grew old. We goofed off up on the stage, blasted music out of a speaker and “moshed” and even had a bat scare that had everyone screaming running out of a pitch black cell. We left at probably around 10:30, but it was pitch black. Sunday, I went to church with Ava.… Read more: The Black Plague - Rocks.
Good afternoon! I just finished my geology homework. Basically had to draw a bunch of rocks, and principles that help geologists. Super boring, but I poured my heart into it honestly. “Stratigraphic Principles” . I’m done with homework and can enjoy the rest of the day though, which I am excited about. My body is absolutely trashed. Yesterday we had a lift, then this morning we had a tempo workout (and it’s long run day). This means I went into the practice tired, and ran a 15 mile run (7 tempo avg 5:22 pace). I wore some shoes I had… Read more: Rocks. - Scooter FiascoWith each new step, my legs burn, as I lunge the scooter forward up the steep, rough hill. Trying to rearrange your footing, you step off the metal push scooter, only for the base to spin around and whack you in the shin. This was the story of my life yesterday as I attempted to travel using the push scooter. I think I’m just too groomed to the simplicity and perfection the electric scooter gave me last year- it was so much more convenient. I worked last night and this morning to try and fix it- but have been unsuccessful.… Read more: Scooter Fiasco
- Traveling MerchantAnother suburban Thursday morning. As a little recap, the other day I was riding my electric scooter to class, when the gas suddenly stopped working! I tried resetting it, but it just kept doing the same thing, and eventually the display was turning off too! I was bummed, and late to class that day. I knew I needed to make an adjustment or figure something out, or the rest of the semester would be very rough. So I did… After school yesterday, I went and got some calf treatment from the trainers. - Hey Blog, We’re Back
Hey Blog. It’s been a sec. I’m back!! I think I actually might have space left on here, so I’m gonna try and keep running the blog. Right now I’m currently writing this in my corporate finance class, which shows you how exciting my classes really are. Life has been super average lately! I’m grateful for my team, friends, and random things that I do when I have free time. I spent much of my time doing various homework, or helping my body recover. Reminder of my classes: History of Jazz, Geology of National Parks, Intro to Film, Corporate Finance,… Read more: Hey Blog, We’re Back - City Creek Canyon Run!
- UVU meetI was kinda bummed with this time. I got in great positioning from the get go, being in around third, tucked in behind a pacer and a teammate. We went through at 60, which was a little fast for me, just because I haven’t run that fast at practice yet this season! This was followed by a 63, so we slowed down significantly. I started to fade towards the end of the third lap, and people started to pass me. I didn’t pick it up at all, and other people did, so I ended up getting 17th in the race.… Read more: UVU meet

- 3/21/25 – Day 75 – Rager? I hardly know herI’m writing this on Saturday morning, just because Friday was a hectic day. I woke up Friday morning, ate a bowl of cereal, and quickly went to work studying for my accounting exam. I was very stressed and needed to do well! With that being said, I didn’t do that well, I got an 84%. I guess life goes on and we study harder next time, but it was a bummer. After that mess, I felt obligated to do something remotely fun. Therefore, I wasted time playing phone games pretty much til practice. Fast forward to practice, I prepare my… Read more: 3/21/25 – Day 75 – Rager? I hardly know her
- 3/15/25 – Day 74 – Sick Like a Dog
Today I am sick. While this is unfortunate, it promotes an excellent blog post, which is well needed considering I haven’t written one almost a month. I woke up this morning, with desperate hope for my throat to feel better. The previous night I had a slightly sore throat, which I believed to just be exhaustion from lots of singing and talking, but I was incorrect. Oh well, glad I could notice that I was sick before it got bad. I woke up, texted the coaches, who told me not to run and rest all weekend, and so I slept… Read more: 3/15/25 – Day 74 – Sick Like a Dog - 2/25/25 – Day 73 – Swing Dancing
I woke up this morning, headed to the fueling station, and got some breakfast. I then headed on the bus to English class. Right now I’m working on an essay about the impact of technology on the sport of running, which is actually pretty interesting and something I’m passionate about. After English class, I went to the heart of campus and played Pokémon go with Garrett, Brad, Mitch, and Will. There is a crazy event right now, so we took down some 5 star raids, which was fun. After that, I hopped back on a bus to the stadium, and… Read more: 2/25/25 – Day 73 – Swing Dancing - 2/18/25 – Day 72 – Life’s Incredible
You know the theme song from The Incredibles? That’s how my life feels right now. Not much homework to do, lots of bowling, running is smooth, the snowy weather is an unpredictable glitter bomb. I woke up this morning, got some breakfast at the fueling station, and headed to my English class. I am writing an informative essay about the impact of technology on the sport of running. It’s neat because I get to do research on something I’m actually passionate about! After this, I did a tiny bit of work (really not much), then headed to bowling class. I’m… Read more: 2/18/25 – Day 72 – Life’s Incredible - 2/10/25 – Day 71 – Conquest
I woke up this morning at 7:15, because I had an accounting exam at 9. I showered, got some blackhole oatmeal from the fueling station, and studied for around 40 minutes, making a note card, and praying that my immense efforts this weekend would be enough. I spent a good chunk of the weekend studying, even during the superbowl game. Fortunately, they did! I got 96% on the exam, and my grade went from an 84 in the class to a 93. I’m proud of myself for that, and hoping I can keep this positive momentum rolling. Afterwards, I worked… Read more: 2/10/25 – Day 71 – Conquest - 2/3/25 – Day 70 – Studious Luke
Woke up this morning at 8, showered, and headed to the fueling station for breakfast. I got the same thing I get every single day! Blackhole oatmeal (oatmeal, chia seeds, coconut, peanut butter, chocolate), two hard boiled eggs, a cup of chocolate milk, some blackberries, and some cashews. Post breakfast, I went and studied in study hall for a bit, then went to my classes. They were very average today! Post class, I went to practice. The weather was wonderful today! Man, today just seemed to repeat itself. Despite the Groundhog’s day joke, today was a day full of similarity in routine. I woke up this morning, and decided I needed to go on a little two mile shakeout run after the race yesterday. So I did! The weather was very nice! Like 45 degrees! I then showered, and threw on some clothes. I ate some Reese’s Puffs, three eggs, and some coffee for breakfast. After this, I tuned into College Church online. I was pretty tired from the meet and also kinda missing the home routine so I figured it’d… Read more: 2/2/25 – Day 69 – Groundhog Day - 1/28/25 – Day 68 – Groovy, baby
Woke up this morning at 7:45, took a shower, got some fueling station breakfast, and took the bus to my English class. Right now I am writing a narrative essay in the class, and I chose to write it about the two scooter collisions I’ve been in. Post class, I walked back to the stadium. It’s nice to walk a little every know and then, and it helps me to be grateful for resources like my scooter and the bus. I was in study hall for a tiny bit, and then I headed to my bowling class. Woke up this morning a little before 9, did the leg lifts I forgot to do yesterday, then some ankle rehab stuff. I ate some cereal (and coffee), and got ready for church. I ironed out some clothes, and headed out. Church was great! We are still in the book of revelation, and we talked about living a life FOR God. It positively set the stage for the rest of my day, and I headed home to eat some food, and get ready for the next church! I decided to go to the LDS church today, because my roommate Ethan… Read more: 1/26/25 – Day 67 – Open Mic Night - 1/22/25 – Day 66 –
Today was a great day! I woke up at 7 (Ethan woke up) couldn’t fall back asleep, so I showered and headed to the fueling station. I did some homework after breakfast, and headed to my first class (microecon). It went well, was an easy class, and I generally enjoy it. I sit by two of my friends from FCA in that class. After Econ, I went to accounting. It was good! I got a tough question right which boosted my esteem, and gives me confidence for the test on Friday. Mid Econ, I found out my third class of… Read more: 1/22/25 – Day 66 – - 1/19/24 – Day 65 – Pomegranate Juice
Woke up this morning, made 6 eggs for breakfast, and drank some chocolate milk and coffee. I then headed to church, and then back home. I played some piano, then headed to Coffee Sunday! Today it was just me, Cameron, and Brie, and I decided not to buy a coffee. Hard decision, but I guess I’m an adult. It was fun to talk for a bit and just hang out, but then I had to move on with my day. I then headed to Walmart to get some groceries for the week. Woke up this morning at 6:30, because we had a USU athlete breakfast. The USU president gave us a speech, and we ate, and went on with our days. I was tired from waking up early, so I tried to fall back asleep after (8 ish), but shocker, I was unable to do so. So I lied in bed, unmotivated to carry on my day due to my exhaustion, and upset with my current situation and sprained ankle. About 45 minutes later, I hopped out of bed, and did some homework. I was feeling recovered, got some good sleep, and was ready to tear up the day! I went to the fueling station pretty shortly after, and ate a good breakfast, before scootering over to English class. On my way over, I was passing one of the busiest sections on campus, and there was a ton of people coming the opposite direction, because it was a busy time of day. Lately I have been struggling a little bit to get enough sleep. Now, I know what you may be thinking: “Welcome to Adulthood Luke! Get used to it!” Or “You couldn’t keep the gift forever!” At this stage in my life, however, sleep is crucial for me, especially as an athlete that has to recover from intense workouts, lifts, and practices. There’s no reason why my body shouldn’t be getting 8 hours a night, and if I want to be a serious athlete, I need to get enough sleep, no questions asked. It was 16 degrees today, and I had a freezing and negative experience running in 12 degrees yesterday, so I decided to run on a treadmill. With that being said, I went into the tiny exercise room of the Lundstrom Student Center. I was still in a few layers, which made this run very hot. I was hyped to go once again. Ethan went with me, and we fueled before the first day! Today I had Microeconomics, accounting, and public speaking! It’s a new year! New year, new blog. Don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of surprises this year in the blog. I can’t wait to keep you posted! Today was a wonderful day! Woke up this morning, and headed to my freshman business class. After that, I decided to attend Ryan’s music class with him. The teacher was super energetic, apparently he’s a world class opera singer, like famous and everything. He has his own Wikipedia page! Anyways, he was playing piano and signing and everything during the class (it’s like a history of music class or something). The whole class looked pretty confused the whole time, so I think he’s just a wild guy. Anyways, after that, I went to a business event with a successful USU… Read more: 11/8/24 – Day 47 – Hot Cocoa Express - 11/6/24 – Day 46 – Freak Scooter Accident
Woke up this morning, made myself a breakfast of cereal, coffee, and some hard boiled eggs. I then headed to study hall, and worked on some nutrition homework. After this, I went to accounting class, got an easy 7 mile run in up Green Canyon, and then I headed home. It’s been deceptively cold today, no snow or anything but just very chilly. I realized that I do have my snow gloves! Now I wear them when headed to class. When I got home, I looked over my old economics test with Garrett and Allie, and we studied for a… Read more: 11/6/24 – Day 46 – Freak Scooter Accident - 11/4/24 – Day 45 – Logan Hallmark movie
Before anyone gets excited- I’m not living a hallmark movie. However, I live in a hallmark style town. Logan is so beautiful right now, and while the snow is a pain in the butt, it’s very pleasant to look at, especially on the mountains. I woke up this morning, went and got a fueling station breakfast, got some gas, then did laundry. After this, I read some of my Econ textbook (did the homework later in the afternoon). Garrett Woodhouse invited my to play spikeball with him at 10:30ish (he’s in a spikeball class). I was finishing up laundry, but… Read more: 11/4/24 – Day 45 – Logan Hallmark movie - 11/4/24 – Day 44- Secret Hitler
Woke up this morning, made a breakfast of toast, coffee, and yogurt, and headed to church! Cameron picked me up for church, because we were trying out a new church today. It’s called Gospel Peace, and it’s the church that the leader of FCA attends. We headed to church, and the sermon was great! The church vibes seemed very similar to College Church back home. Some recognizable worship songs, responsive reading, and offering were pretty similar. There were multiple ideas discussed that I really enjoyed, such as the fact that we are saved by grace rather than works, addressing sins… Read more: 11/4/24 – Day 44- Secret Hitler - 11/3/24 – Day 43 – Inches of Snow
Woke up this morning, ate a bowl of oatmeal (with honey, peanut butter, and chia seeds), then headed to practice. At practice, the workout was 2×2 mile. So pretty easy today, I was surprised coach didn’t have me do three. After practice, me, Landon, and Brad went and got some breakfast at a Mexican restaurant! It was pretty good. After this, I went to Walmart with the other Landon, and got some food for the chicken fajitas for our date tonight. We eventually got ready, and went and picked up the girls. I was on a blind date, and the… Read more: 11/3/24 – Day 43 – Inches of Snow - 10/31/24 – Day 43 – Halloween
Today was the first snowfall in Logan! Super terrifying, but also exciting in its own way. It was only for an hour or two, and nothing crazy, but boy, it’s getting cold. I went to my Econ class, same as usual, but at practice I wore a Waldo costume. I got my fair share of car honks and chuckles passing people, but it was a good time. It’s starting to get pretty cold for running, most all of the guys on the team wore tights on the run yesterday except me. I’ve been scooting to classes the past few days,… Read more: 10/31/24 – Day 43 – Halloween - 10/30/24- Day 42 – Frost-Coated Land
Woke up this morning, and went out to my car to go get fueling station breakfast, and to my surprise, it was coated in frost! I had not anticipated to have to scrape my car, but was grateful to have the tool required! I looked around, and the mountains revealed some snow, alongside the grass coated in frost. It was beautiful, but sad at the same time. A change of beauty, from the vibrant fall vibes, to the approaching crystal cold winter depression. Anyways, I got breakfast, did some studying, and went to my accounting class. Shocker- it was very… Read more: 10/30/24- Day 42 – Frost-Coated Land - 10/29/24 – Day 42 – Mega Coat Winter ArcThis morning we had a workout at 6:45! It was pretty tough, 3x2k, 1×1200, and 1×400. Nonetheless, it was good, and there was lifting afterwards. After this, I had my nutrition class! It was really boring, and I ended up playing video games, during it, which probably wasn’t smart, but the teacher didn’t teach the class anything. After nutrition, I had a quick meeting with the coaches, then went to Econ. Another very boring class. I also spent a lot of time doing homework today, probably around 5 hours. It’s an exciting time in Davis Hall… we are 58 days away from Christmas! Today I woke up, went to the fueling station, did laundry, did some accounting reading, then went to class. A productive morning! After accounting, it was practice. Some of the team wore costumes but I didn’t get a costume this year so I didn’t dress up. Just an easy 8 mile run today, we ran to the golf course. Post practice, we got spikes for track! I was stoked because we got the new dragonfly 2s! Today, as a special treat for Day 40 of the blogs, I figured it could add a little spice and seasoning if my summary of my day was in the form of a rap. Here it is: Woke up in the morning, after a full nights sleep, A bowl of cereal, a cup of coffee, my breakfast was pretty cheap. I hit up church, opened my ear to revelation from the pastor, Hit up Walmart, took a grocery list then I was the master. Nice and tired this morning! Went out for a 12 mile run with the fellas, and we saw some beautiful mountains. There was a pen full of probably 100 sheep with a mountain backdrop that was very scenic! I wish I had my phone for a picture. After the run, I went home, then went to brunch at Herm’s with Brad and Garrett. It was a good time, and Brad even finished The Give Up (a crazy massive meal). After this, I laid low for a bit, watched a movie, and relaxed. True blue collar day on the cross country course. Woke up, got breakfast, and loaded the bus to SLC at 9:30. We got to Sugarhouse Park at 11:00ish, and all was well. It was slightly chilly, but it seemed to be a good day. The hay was in the barn, and me and the boys were ready for ANYTHING. Or, at least we thought we were. We prepped for the race with a 2 mile jog, some form drills, strides, and all the usual occurrences. I woke up this morning, got some breakfast, then went to Walmart to get some basic groceries. Some paper towels, vinegar, pedialyte, etc. I got the vinegar to clean out my humidifier, which now makes my room smell absolutely wonderful! It smells like spearmint right now, and I’m blessing everyone. Later, I went on an easy 5 mile premeet run. I followed this with 4 200s, my typical high school strides. A very interesting day, today was. I woke up, got a fueling station breakfast, then went to study hall for a bit. I then followed this by going to my nutrition class. No surprise it was boring, but I have an exam tomorrow for it, so I have to take it somewhat seriously. After this, I had my Economics class, followed by practice. Oh boy, what a day! I wanna take the time and apologize for my lack of blogs lately, but the break just means these upcoming blog posts will be even better. Started off the morning by attending practice at 6:45. It was an easier workout than usual, we did 1×1200, 2×800, and 3×400, with 400 recov in between each rep. My calves felt better than last week, so we are slowly recovering but still have work to do. Post practice and lifting, I got some fueling station breakfast, then hit my nutrition class. I woke up this morning, got some breakfast from the fueling station, then did some homework in study hall. My first class was at 1:30, so I basically just killed time til then. After class, we had practice. Today’s workout was BRUTAL. We did 3 by mile (4:49, 4:48, 4:46) then a 1000m (71, 69, 33) and then two 600s (35, 33, 31). Started off this morning with a beautiful run up green canyon! I was planning to run at 6:30, but then I realized the sun rose at 7:30, so I wait a bit. The sunrise was beautiful! Post run, I went to study hall, and grinder out some economics homework. After this, I had my accounting class, which I followed up with going to an accounting tutoring session. Today was a little bit better than mid! Today’s post might be slightly shorter than usual, but some of my blogs have been long lately. Started off the morning by waking up at 5:45, and headed to the fueling station for a quick oatmeal breakfast. We had practice at 6:30, and coach just had the guys that raced this past weekend do a normal run but with some slightly faster hills. Nothing crazy, but the body is still recovering from the weekend. After this, the coaches had me just do plyos, but not the full lifting routine. I woke up at 8ish, headed down to the fueling station for a nice big breakfast, then went to e training room to hop in the compression boots for a bit. My legs are shot from a weekend of traveling, so I’ll have to work extra hard to recover. After this, I went home and showered, got ready for the day, etc. and such. Started off on Thursday with an easy 4 mile run at 6 ish. We headed out on the bus to the Salt Lake City airport. We then boarded the plane. I decided the best use of my time on the plane would be to watch Kung Fu Panda 4. Not a bad film, but not the best in the series. Then I watched Kicking and Screaming with Will Ferrell, which is a funny movie as well. Today I learned that I’m racing in Pennsylvania this weekend! With that being said I have a lot of work to do these next few days… Today I did homework, followed by school, followed by homework. Practice was an easy 8.5 with some hills. Everything was boring today- but – one thing. Earlier today, we were all singing in our room uncontrollably with the door open. The run was good! A progressive tempo, starting at 5:40, and ending at 5:09ish. Post workout, I made myself some lunch. Chicken thighs, with spaghetti, and some Alfredo on top. One of my favorite parts about being a college athlete so far had been the Powerade. We oftentimes will get unlimited Powerade after runs (and chocolate milk), which is incredibly convenient and helpful. Nothing like downing multiple glasses of sugary goodness after running in the heat, and a long day of classes and boredom. The person who makes the Powerade will sometimes even combine different kinds and try to make unique and flavorful combos. Some of them are incredible, but none are worse than mid.
