Today was a unique day. Started off with an easy 7 mile run this morning at 6:15, then hit the fueling station for a nice breakfast after. This was followed by two meetings, both were helpful, yet maybe still unnecessary. However, I am able to drop my English class! I am trying to fill it in with a new one, but I might be unable.
I got a lot of good work done today! Preparing to miss school on Friday and Thursday for the race. We got the rest of our gear drop today so that was cool!
While nothing crazy interesting happened today, I will say I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Panda Express, and I then started a revolution at the campfire. And I mean revolution. I sat at the electric campfire behind the student center, quietly enjoying myself while listening to Christmas music (I’m stoked for Christmas time). A few friends joined me, but suddenly I was inviting everyone that walked by! Eventually our circle was almost full of chairs. Plenty of new friends, deep convos, superficial convos, and laughs were shared. Along with many names I prolly won’t remember. Tonight, we rest well, and prepare for good times.
Missing my family a lot today. I’m excited to see all of them soon, even though it has been less than a month.
