Here’s an in-depth run through of my day. I woke up at 8ish, changed clothes, and hit the fueling station. I had a goated bowl of oatmeal with chia seeds, chocolate chips, coconut, and peanut butter. This along with two cups of chocolate milk was my breakfast. After I got back, I went on an easy run.
My run this morning was beautiful; truly a great run. I’m really grateful for where I’m at and I truly feel God has blessed me. Saw some deer on the run, and some beautiful mountains, but it was just a nice time to listen to some good tunes and run an easy 6.5 miles. The deer ran away quickly, they must’ve been pretty scared of me. To see the view from my run, check out the everything scenic page!
Post run, I showered and ate a light snack of 2 hard boiled eggs with hot sauce, and a peach yogurt (I got both from the fueling station). I also drank some Salty Mango Mortal Hydration to replenish some electrolytes (mainly sodium); one of my favorite hydration packets right now. After doing my core and stretching, I headed to the training room. I hopped in the Normatec compression boots for 15 minutes, then headed up to study hall to do some work before my accounting class.
(I had a lunch at the fueling station consisting of a chicken bowl (bbq chicken, pico de gallo, guacamole, black beans), a glass of chocolate milk, and a bowl of cereal)
Accounting was really boring today, but we are prepping for an exam. After this, I headed back to study hall to do some more homework. I ate a granola bar, and some fruit snacks, and locked in on my nutrition homework. After study hall, I went back to the dorms to play some piano for about a half hour.
This was followed by my connections class with all the other athletes. Our teacher is a really nice guy who cares a lot about our class. After connections, me and my roommates went to Costa Vida (a fan favorite), and I got my go-to: the small sweet pork salad. After this, we headed home, and I played a little bit of beach volleyball before heading to bed!
I tried to give a descriptive rundown of the food I eat in a day, but today was a little bit small for a food day to be honest! It was a productive day thought, which is good.
