9/23/24 – Day 18 – The Love Triangle

I know what you’re probably thinking. THE LOVE TRIANGLE? But let me just immediately relieve your excitement, there is no physical love triangle.

I woke up this morning, ate some breakfast, then hit up study hall. About an hour into study hall, I had to drive home and give some recruits a room tour of my dorm. So I did! I tried to clean it up as best I could and it turned out to be good, one of my coaches even complimented the cleanliness.

After this, I got to eat a meal with the recruits. Some people on the team and the new recruits went to Jack’s Wood Fired Oven. A suuuuper good pizza place. I got the same thing I got a year ago: The Love Triangle. A wonderful chicken pizza with peppers, onions, and some glorious honey on top. Maybe the best pizza I’ve ever had.

However, this lunch went much longer than I anticipated, and it ended up cutting into my accounting class. Huge L.

Today’s practice was just an easy 8 miles up the canyon with the recruits. It was pleasant! I got in the ice bath afterwards.

Post practice, I went to an LDS church event. It wasn’t church related, but there was free food (even gluten free)! So I got some, some Mac and cheese, salad, and even a brownie, then hit up my connections class.

Connections was sad today. Neither of my groups mentors were at class today, so we had to join another group. It was an L.

Post connections, I went to the outdoor fireplace and did some more nutrition homework. I have an exam for nutrition on Wednesday.
