Oh Logan, the incredible mountains tho hast
Gods beauty is evident, in the fall at last
The mist is clear yet foggy up high
Coating the mountains in a white blanket, colder than a sigh
The leaves blow around like dust in the wind
Over the misty mountains, the crispy fall air is quite thin.
Today was a calm, pleasant fall day. Overtime, I’ve lost some appreciate for fall due to my deep excitement for going home for a lot of the winter, and Christmas. The mountains were incredible this morning, hence my thought of a need for a poem.
Today I woke up, went to the fueling station for breakfast, picked up one of my roommates from an appointment, and just did various homework. I had an economics class, and one of my roommates was bored and didn’t have any homework, so he came with me.
I gave Brit my backpack, and he hopped on the back of my scooter as we headed to Economics. He latched on for dear life, pushed gracefully off the ground a few times with his foot, and we were off! Due to the weight, steering was difficult, and we almost hit several people, but overall it was a smooth coast.
After Econ, we had practice. The run was a nice chill 7.5 mile run up the canyon, it’s just a beautiful time of year.
Post practice, I got some costa vida, then now I’m watching parks and rec with some people on the team (Brad, Jane, and Brooke). We all drank EmergenC! What a party. This was then followed by some ping-pong. Song of the day was Dreams- Fleetwood Mac
Grateful for where I’m at, and I am absolutely ecstatic to sit in a car for 5 hours (in all seriousness, I can’t wait to visit home).
