Vital Trek of Life

Today, as a special treat for Day 40 of the blogs, I figured it could add a little spice and seasoning if my summary of my day was in the form of a rap. Here it is:

Woke up in the morning, after a full nights sleep,

A bowl of cereal, a cup of coffee, my breakfast was pretty cheap.

I hit up church, opened my ear to revelation from the pastor,

Hit up Walmart, took a grocery list then I was the master.

Cleaning supplies, chicken, and some tator tots too,

I got it all, t’was expensive and I now must be frugal, I knew.

I headed home, with incredible enthusiasm for a day of chores and laundry,

Starting off by cleaning my room and stretching out my knee.

Put some chicken in some bags, with some sauce and some spice,

Was figuring a feast in the form of meal prep sure would be nice.

I started vacuuming the dorm, ruling crumbs like a monarch ,

The house must be clean, (I thought) preppin for the season of Hallmark.

I soon sat down and popped open my digital Econ book,

Man, college sucks, I thought after just the first look.

I then walked down the hall right to my trusty kitchen,

Whipped the George Forman out to cook my 2 bags of chicken.

Simmered some rice up in a pot right there and then,

A little chicken bowl action, yeah I’d rate it a ten.

I killed some time, watched some movies, chilled out in my room,

Later to go to FCA, my volleyball serves put the other team in a tomb.

I got home and watched a classic episode of the Office,

Threat Level Midnight and golden face, but Michael Scarn was flawless.

That was pretty much my day, productive and not too exciting,

I prolly won’t rap again, it was a lot of work describing-

My full day in detail is actually pretty boring

But it’s something to do, make a story outta nothing.
