Lately I have been struggling a little bit to get enough sleep. Now, I know what you may be thinking:
“Welcome to Adulthood Luke! Get used to it!” Or
“You couldn’t keep the gift forever!”
At this stage in my life, however, sleep is crucial for me, especially as an athlete that has to recover from intense workouts, lifts, and practices. There’s no reason why my body shouldn’t be getting 8 hours a night, and if I want to be a serious athlete, I need to get enough sleep, no questions asked.
With that being said, I am attempting to create a new process before bedtime to help me sleep quicker, and better. This process involves being off my phone, reading the Bible, getting a little cold, diffused lavender-air, and soon probably tea.
Why am I telling you this? I used to always write my blog post right before bed. Because of the business of this second semester thus far, I have been unable to do so proficiently lately. And now, I won’t be able to be on my phone right before bed. So I’m gonna make a new goal to start writing some blog posts in the morning. We will see how it goes, because I want to keep this running.
