I woke up this morning at 7:15, because I had an accounting exam at 9. I showered, got some blackhole oatmeal from the fueling station, and studied for around 40 minutes, making a note card, and praying that my immense efforts this weekend would be enough. I spent a good chunk of the weekend studying, even during the superbowl game.
Fortunately, they did! I got 96% on the exam, and my grade went from an 84 in the class to a 93. I’m proud of myself for that, and hoping I can keep this positive momentum rolling.
Afterwards, I worked on a business assignment, got 100%, then headed to my Econ class. Got 100% on the quiz of the day, and am working on studying for the exam in that class tomorrow.
After that, I headed to my accounting class. Today, it was in the Aggie Chocolate Factory! I guess USU is the only university that has an academic-focused chocolate factory, so that’s kinda neat. It was nice to have a different class, and fun to try a couple pieces of chocolate.
I then headed to my public speaking class, listened to some speeches, then practice.
The talks were interesting on the golf course today, so I hardly noticed when we flipped at 5 miles rather than my usual 4! When we got back, we did full core, and that was practice.
Post practice, I went and got some free chicken tacos from Ruby’s (fire). I then cleaned up, and headed to FCA.
We talked about the Old Testament today, and more about the background of it. I never realized how much it emphasizes and foreshadows Christ’s coming, and the promise Jesus made. Really cool to learn about the different sections of the old testaments, and their purposes and origins.
After FCA, we had a roommate agreement meeting, and then I worked on homework for a bit. Now I’m headed to bed!
Overall, a good day. I’m grateful for where I’m at right now.
