I’m drowning in homework! A freak flash flood!
I went to bed last night at 9:45, but I slept horribly. I was thinking about the workout, had to pee twice during the night, and struggled getting deep sleep. Woke up this morning, shook it off, and prepared for a hard day in the office.
I show up to the track, wearing half tights, a long sleeve, then zip up, and a jacket over that. It was cold this morning! All that and I was still freezing at times. I guess it’s foreshadowing for the rest of the season.
The workout was tough. We started fast, slowed down a little bit, and ended fast. Coaches had us do pushups in the middle of the workout two times. It sucked because it made your hands freezing cold, down on the frigid, moist grass. Your chest throbbing, as your heart pounds and begs for more air.
Anyways, you get back on the line, “thirsty” for more reps (thirsty to be done). After the workout, we trudged through our cooldown, and lifted. I grabbed some food before the fueling station closed, and headed to the training room, feeling like a melted popsicle.
I did some rolling, stretching, and 20 minutes of Rapid Reboots (super boots). I’ve got treatment at 12, I’ll get my calves worked on.
I haven’t done anything crazy funny lately, just because I’ve been dedicated to sleep and homework, but I’ll keep you posted.
